When an Austin friend who is quite fond of microbreweries ended up in Chicago for a work trip, we made plans for quite the obvious choice – well, not quite the obvious choice for brunch: Revolution Brewing in Logan Square. I’ve already swooned over brunch twice (Jam and Longman & Eagle) I had in Logan Square so I’m beginning to think my tastebuds will be taking me back to that neighborhood frequently. Come to think of it, Longman & Eagle is also known for their PBR breakfast that comes with a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. (Beer & brunch theme in Logan Square maybe?) Not only was it surprising to find a hefty brunch menu available at what may seem like more of a lunch or dinner spot, but I was impressed to find a vitamin-rich Vegan option available. (more…)
