There are many ways to stay entertained as this week comes to an end and we approach another sunny weekend in Austin! Whether you like art or the charm on South Congress (SoCo), walking for a good cause, or endulging in breakfast in the park with new friends and true friends, in the next few days, there’s something for you!

Check out these upcoming cultural, philanthropic, and delicious events!

Thursday, June 4th- First Thursday and West End Gallery Night- Walk SoCo (South Congress) and enjoy the delicious eats, late night shopping, and live music, offered late on the first Thursday of each month! Also, the art galleries on West 5th and 6th streets are open until 8 PM on First Thursday nights and snacks/wine are often offered to visitors!  Check out more info here!

Saturday, June 6th- Take Steps Walk 2009 for the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation of America at the Dell Diamond at 6:30 PM.  It’s free to participate, or you can donate.  For more information about registration or donating, click here!

Sunday, June 7th- Austin Breakfast Club, June Breakfast in the Park at Butler Park downtown at 11:30 AM. Bring breakfast food or drinks to share, and any picnic accessories to make it a fun Sunday activity! (frisbees, blankets, soccer balls, hula hoops, games, etc.)  Request to join the group on Facebook here!
