Donate, Celebrate, & Classy Tailgate

Two quick updates for today:
1) Tonight, check out the October CharityBash at Shiner Saloon (at 5th and Congress Avenue) from 7-10 PM. A minimum $10 donation serves as your entry and will help benefit Capital IDEA, an organization that assists financially struggling families get back on their ground with educational programs. So, grab your friends to donate and celebrate!
2) Although true Texas tailgating in the heat, sweat, and bbq smoke is what we miss when it’s not football season, or if this combo is not your favorite way to celebrate the Texas longhorns before a big game, stop by the Four Seasons hotel downtown to endulge in the U.T.ini cocktail in the Lobby Lounge, only available during football season. Also known as the “3rd & Longhorn”, this pre-game refresher is made with Stoli vanilla and pineapple juice, and comes in an orange martini glass, of course. The perfect way to cheer the longhorns to victory against Colorado on Saturday. (Game time: 6:15 pm). *The Four Seasons is located at 98 San Jacinto Boulevard.
