Guys and Gals! This #oneroomchallenge is a lesson in patience because I’m ready to reveal our full kitchen remodel! But, hold your horses with us for one more week! That patience came in handy during the remodel too, but man, was it worth it! While we will show the full picture next week, I decided if you’ve stuck with us through our remodel blog posts over the past 6 weeks, you should get bigger previews of sections of our kitchen! And, I stood up on the island for an aerial shot, so that should definitely be featured for your viewing pleasure (above). See more below and imagine it’s all put together for a fully functioning, storage-containing, simple and clean condo kitchen.
Also, I just became aware of this awesome home design digital video network: Home Love Network, who is partnering with Calling it Home and HouseBeautiful magazine. They are remodeling and giving away a house, which is pretty cool! We kind of want our kitchen to be featured on their network – just a little bit…

Looks great! Love the backsplash! We are also renovating our kitchen but aren’t ready yet to reveal…so much pressure! I’ll check back next week to see the final reveal!

Thanks, Denise! The backsplash surprised us too when we saw it in the tile store – white subway is so popular but since our space is small, we decided smaller tiles would be more proportionate and loved the variance in the grey tones to give a little earthiness to the crisp white cabinets. Libby – thank you so much for reading and for the awesome compliment! We love our backsplash tile too – just enough unique texture and the smaller size of the tiles was just perfect for our space.
